Bluffs Food Bank Update

WE HAVE GOOD NEWS TO SHARE!

Bluffs Food Bank will re-open its FRONT RAMP DOORS on July 9 in a modified format to help meet needs in our community. To start our hours will be 12:30 until 2:30 on Thursdays.

Safe social distancing, sanitizing of contact surfaces, hand washing, and a skeleton staff of volunteers along with PPE, pre-bagging of groceries & quick ID and service of one person at a time outside at the ramp door entrance will make this possible,.

Client entry to the facility along with the Meal Program will continue to be suspended until further notice. This is in accordance with personal safety measures determined by provincial and public health recommendations in consultation with the lead volunteers and our volunteer and client realities.

Non-perishable food donations will be accepted on Fridays between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Egg cartons can be left in the bin outside the front door at any time.

Bluffs Food Bank clients who wish to avail themselves of our FREE income tax clinic may do so via e-mail:  bluffsfoodbanktax@gmail.com. There will be no face to face or telephone contact for this service.

Thank you for your generous support for Bluffs Food Bank in the past six months.
YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN!  Your generosity enables us to continue to feed families in the community during these difficult times and will continue going forward in our new format as it evolves.  If are able to tell a friend about our operation and continue to support us financially in these extraordinary times, it would make such a positive difference!
