When you give money to the Bluffs Food Bank it contributes directly to our primary goal: To end hunger in our community. Your donations support various food bank efforts.
Buying at Discount From Wholesalers
We have various relationships with the same wholesalers that supply major grocery stores, allowing us to receive great discounts on large volumes of food and other products.
Buying Groceries We Need, When We Need Them
Sometimes we are short of specific items or want to purchase fresh items. We use your donations to buy bread, meat and some prepared meals that arrive in volume just in time for distribution. We also buy non-food items like toilet paper in bulk.
Buying Products for Safe and Efficient Storage and Distribution
A small portion of our donations are used to purchase shelving, refrigerators/freezers, carts and dollies for moving food and bags or containers. With the advent of the COVID pandemic, we have also invested in cleaning products and air purifiers to keep our volunteers and clients safe. All of these items are researched carefully for the best prices.
How To Give Money
The simplest way to give is to click the DONATE button above. Your income tax receipt will be emailed to you immediately. If you prefer to donate by personal cheque, you can mail it to our address at the bottom of this page, with Income Tax receipts issued early in the new year.
We are open Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Thursdays 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and Fridays 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., if you would like to donate money in person.
Donations by cheque allow us to quickly make mobile deposits and put the money to good use immediately.

Bluffs Food Bank is a registered name of our organization and may be used on cheques for donations. It is the name by which we are commonly known in the community.
